There are several things that we do for which we rely on our memory. Though we remember almost everything that we do on a daily basis, there are quite a few things that we do only once in a month sometimes once in three months which tends to slip out of our memory. By now if you still have not figured out what we are mentioning then you have a poor memory.

Form 720:

Form 720 is a quarterly Tax, one must file it four times a year, Right now it’s time to E-file your Federal Excise tax Form 720 for the Second quarter of 2018, which is due by the end of this month. Form 720 PCORI Excise Tax Filers please note that you file PCORI Taxes only once a year and that is with the Second Quarter Form 720.

With Several Tax Forms falling due this July and August do not forget to E-file your Federal Excise Tax Form 720. The other Tax Forms that are due are Heavy Vehicle Use Tax (HVUT) Form 2290 is due for the annual renewal for Tax Year 2018 – 2019. The Previous filing that you did for your Heavy Vehicle for tax year 2017 – 2018 must have Expired by the end of June and if you have not renewed your 2290 for 2018 – 2019 yet then you are Operating with an Expired Stamped Schedule 1 Copy. Though you have time until the End of August it is recommended that you renew your HVUT ASAP to avoid last minute rush.

Another report that is due this July is your International Fuel Tax Agreement (IFTA) Report for the Second Quarter of 2018. If you are an interstate Heavy Hauler you must submit an IFTA report every quarter to your base Jurisdiction and July 31st is the Due date to submit your IFTA report for the 2nd Quarter of 2018.
